ABOUT ME
I came from Tianjin, a big city next to Beijing, the capital of China.
I did my undergraduate degree in Beijing, China. Like so many others, I started to work in Beijing after graduation. At that time, I was working as a consultant in the research division of a real estate consulting firm.
Four years later, I moved to Hong Kong to do an MPhil and PhD in the Department of Real Estate and Construction at the University of Hong Kong.
On completion of my PhD, I had worked as a Research Associate at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for a year and then as an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Capital University of Economics and Business for half year.Â
In 2013, I moved back to Hong Kong and took a position as an investment analyst in a large real estate developer in Hong Kong.
In 2015, I moved to the University of Manchester to take up a post as a Lecturer in Real Estate.
Beyond academia and work, I enjoy skating, swimming, traveling, playing piano, and spending time with people I loved, among other things.
So, eight years in Beijing, another eight years in Hong Kong;
I am expecting the next eight years coming.
They say, everything happens for a reason. I do hope so.
